The Sharps Collector Association was formed in 1993 to study the firearms of Christian Sharps and the Sharps Companies.

The Sharps Collector Association is privileged to have access to the remaining Sharps corporate records including original Sharps factory letters and extensive correspondence from the dealers.
Our journal, The Sharps Collector Association Report, has articles covering all aspects of Sharps firearms from their inception in 1848 through 1881 with the closing of the Sharps Rifle Company. The SCA Report is published three times a year.
New material is often sourced from period accounts, diary and family records, periodicals, advertising, as well as court records and the National Archives.
